With me, you will follow the optimal route, discover fantastic photo locations, and hear the history of the reserve. Enjoy the symphony of 16 delightful lakes surrounded by coniferous and beech forests. And afterwards, taste the traditional dishes of the region - hearty and very tasty.
What to Expect
The Path to Croatia's Treasure
Starting from Zagreb in a comfortable car, we will head to the magical reserve, reaching it in about two hours. Along the way, you will see the picturesque life of Croatian villages and learn the history of the country's largest and oldest national park, listed by UNESCO. On the way back, we will talk about modern life, discuss any questions you may have, and places worth seeing in Zagreb and Croatia in general.
The Magic of Plitvice Lakes
Arriving at the park, you can rest from the journey and have coffee with delicious pastries. Then we will enter the most 'correct' entrance from the perspective of views of waterfalls and stunning selfies. The reserve occupies a huge territory - I will help you not get lost amidst its magnificence. You will take the most comfortable and spectacular route, in the season you will sail on a boat on the lake, enjoy various shades of water bodies, waterfalls, and get acquainted with the rich local flora and fauna.
Unforgettable Tastes and Aromas of National Cuisine
Afterwards, in a pleasant restaurant, you will be able to taste exceptionally delicious food characteristic of the region. You will be offered specially baked veal/lamb, fresh trout caught in local rivers, all kinds of local grilled meat, meat platter, and young cheese, traditional soups, risotto with mushrooms, homemade sausages. As well as wines, herbal liqueurs, and signature desserts - pastries with various fillings in very thin dough or carob cake with oranges. Some dishes are made to order - we will discuss upon meeting.
After replenishing ourselves, we will return to Zagreb - I will take you to the hotel or leave you in the center for an evening walk in the city, recommending places for dinner and night rest.

- Tickets should be purchased at least one day in advance at the national park's online ticket office at a convenient time for you (best in the early morning, we will confirm exactly when booking). When purchasing, pay attention to discounts. I will send the link to the ticket office after booking the excursion.
