Then we will head to Villa d'Este, built five centuries ago by a very ambitious cardinal, astonishing contemporaries with unimaginable scale and elegance. I will reveal the secret of which ideas of the palace-park ensemble of the villa Peter the Great borrowed and embodied in Peterhof, and how Italian masters achieved true harmony of architecture and nature.

You will explore the cardinal's palace of d'Este and decipher the meaning of the frescoes covering its walls.
