What to expect
Drive and walk around Gelendzhik and its surroundings
In this tour, there will be plenty of time for a leisurely walk along the snow-white promenade shaded by Pitsunda pines, for breathtaking views from the rocky Kruch cliff, and for discovering the ancient settlement of Torik and the temple of St. Andrew the Apostle with its shining golden domes - I will tell you who built it and gave blessings. Additionally, you will see two lighthouses and the famous hotel-restaurant "Fisherman's Hut," where the movie "Gorko" was filmed.
Discover Gelendzhik without memorized phrases
I will easily and engagingly recount the history of this resort city: who inhabited these lands before and how Gelendzhik flourished under Soviet rule. At the most iconic spots on the promenade, I will show you photos of old Gelendzhik, allowing you to immerse yourself in the atmosphere of that time when the southern intelligentsia was emerging. We will also discuss the modern life of the city and its active development, and I will recommend places where you can enjoy a delicious dinner or a glass of sparkling wine.
If desired, we can arrange a gastronomic dinner for you with a tasting of local wines and snacks (additional discussion needed).
