What do you imagine when you hear the word "desert"? Most likely endless sands. Our journey through Egypt will dispel this stereotype! You will see whimsical karst figures shaped like animals and mushrooms, sulfur springs, Bedouin villages, and green oases. And to truly feel the desert world from within, you will spend the night in a camping site, enjoying the magical nature and ringing silence.
What to Expect
Surreal landscapes
From Cairo, we will take a bus to the Bahariya Oasis - a green corner with palm groves and adobe houses. Here we will be greeted by 4x4 SUVs, on which we will conquer the desert. And not just any desert, but a true biological museum under the open sky! You will see the Crystal Mountain made of sparkling quartz crystal, sulfur springs, giant karst figures in the White Desert, and sand covered with lava in the Black Desert.
Night in the desert
Welcoming the sunset, we will set up camp in a quiet and safe part of the desert. We will cook a delicious dinner over the fire, have Bedouin tea, and have heart-to-heart conversations on any topic. And then we will go to sleep until sunrise - surrounded by endless sands and bright stars in the sky. After breakfast at the camping site, we will conclude the exploration of the White Desert and head back to Cairo, inspired by the fantastic landscapes and new unusual experience.
Organizational Details
All-inclusive: bus tickets from Cairo and back, jeep safari in the desert on an individual Land Cruiser, meals along the route, overnight stay in the desert, tickets to the reserve.
