Embark on a journey to the Kyrgyz mountains for breathtaking views! In a prepared off-road vehicle, you will reach an impressive height and explore the Suluu-Terek Gorge with red-yellow rocks and winding canyons at the bottom. Then, you will trek through the dried riverbed of Konorcheck Canyon.

Encounter the Red-Yellow Rocks of Suluu-Terek
Castles, fantastic animals, ghostly figures - imagine what your mind can conjure up among the red-yellow clay cliffs of Suluu-Terek Gorge! You will learn why this location is translated from Kyrgyz as 'beautiful poplar'. Marvel at the whimsical system of canyons that crisscrosses the landscape of the gorge like wrinkles. In a prepared jeep, we will ascend to a height of 2200 meters above sea level and from a bird's eye view, appreciate the expanse, texture, and beauty of the Kyrgyz Alatoo Range.
Trekking in Konorcheck Canyon
In the Boom Gorge lies the alien canyon of Konorcheck - the only way to reach it is through the dried riverbed, across rocky ridges and mazes. And that's exactly what we'll do! We will embark on an easy but impressive trek through the canyon, ascending the relief slopes, stopping at rocky outcrops to enjoy new landscapes. Along the way, the guide will introduce you to the history of these places and tell you about the animals that inhabit here.
As a bonus after the tour, we will send you 10-15 processed photos!
Who's it For
This program is designed for active travelers aged 16 and older, as we have a 1.5-hour easy trek through Konorcheck Canyon with small dry river crossings.
Logistical Details
- I will personally conduct the tour for you or another guide from our team.
- We will travel in a prepared jeep (transportation is included in the price), and there is always hot tea in the car for you.
- Upon request, we can pick you up at the airport.
- After visiting the canyon, we plan to stop for lunch: you can bring a snack with you, or we can stop at a cafe.
