About this experience
Join me on a rich journey through the picturesque surroundings of Bishkek! You will visit the Ala-Archa National Park and two gorges: Issyk-Ata and Chunkurchak. Experience the grandeur of the local mountains, breathe in the scents of the coniferous forest, and enjoy hot thermal baths. And I will share insights on the culture, way of life, and traditional cuisine of Kyrgyzstan.
What to Expect
Idyllic Landscapes
You will spend a day surrounded by mighty mountains, blooming meadows, and coniferous forests. The tour includes:
- Ala-Archa National Park - we will walk through fantastically beautiful spots, enjoy the Tian Shan Mountains, rivers with crystal clear water, and green valleys. I will share the park's history and reveal the specifics of its flora and fauna.
- Chunkurchak Gorge - located at an altitude of 2400 meters, it will captivate you with a unique blend of snow-capped mountain peaks, alpine meadows, coniferous forests, and reddish soil.
- Issyk-Ata Gorge - here you will see mountain streams, waterfalls, and a 12th-century Buddha statue. Additionally, you can optionally soak in the thermal springs with healing water. I will share the gorge's origins and its landscape specifics.
Organizational Details
- I will personally lead the tour for you or another guide from our team
- We will travel in a prepared jeep. Transportation is included in the price.
- Entrance tickets are paid separately: Ala-Archa Park - 700 soms per car, thermal springs - 300 soms per person
- Lunch is not included in the tour price. You can bring a snack or we can stop at a food court (offering national and European cuisine).
- As a bonus, after the tour, we will send you 10-15 processed photos
- Upon request, we can meet you at the airport - 950 soms
- If desired, we can arrange a horseback ride through the gorge - 900 soms/person for 1 hour. Additional fee for the instructor's services - 1000 soms.
