What to Expect
Hierapolis: a journey through time
You will explore the ruins of the ancient city of Hierapolis, delve into the history of the city, and see its main attractions: the ancient theater, necropolis, and remains of churches. I will tell you who founded Hierapolis and how it became a famous thermal resort. I will also explain the features of the construction of the Roman baths, remind you of the temple of Apollo, and reveal where the only entrance to the Underworld in the world is located.
Bathing in hot springs
Cleopatra's pool is the most comfortable place to swim in Pamukkale, with a temperature of +36°C maintained year-round. You will relax in the warm mineral water and learn about the beneficial elements it contains. I will also tell you who ordered the construction of the pool, when it started receiving guests, and how fragments of marble Roman columns ended up on its bottom.
