About this experience
The eighth wonder of the world, the cotton castle, the source of beauty and health - this is how Pamukkale is often referred to. This amazing place is known for its white travertine terraces and healing hot springs. You will bathe in Cleopatra's pool, admire the magical landscapes, explore the ancient city of Hierapolis, and discover Turkey from a new angle.
What to Expect
Hierapolis: a journey through time
You will explore the ruins of the ancient city of Hierapolis, dive into the history of the city, and see its main attractions: ancient theater, necropolis, and remains of churches. I will tell you who founded Hierapolis and how it became a famous thermal resort. I will also explain the features of the construction of the Roman baths, recall the temple of Apollo, and reveal where the only entrance to the Underworld in the world is located.
Bathing in hot springs
Cleopatra's Pool is the most comfortable place for bathing in Pamukkale, its temperature is maintained at +36°C all year round. You will relax in warm mineral water and learn about its beneficial elements. I will also tell you by whose order the pool was built, when it started receiving guests, and how fragments of marble Roman columns ended up on its bottom.
