About this experience
Pamukkale has rightfully earned the title of the "eighth wonder of the world". You will marvel at its surreal landscapes, walk on the white-blue travertine terraces, and experience the therapeutic effects of the warm thermal waters. You will also visit Hierapolis and see the ruins of Roman baths, temples, and marketplaces.
What to Expect
Pamukkale and Cleopatra's Pool
You will walk on travertines - white whimsical terraces with thermal pools resembling oyster shells. Discover how they were formed, what elements from the periodic table they contain, and why they started changing color in the 90s. You will also bathe in the ancient Cleopatra's pool with clean, clear, bubbling water and learn about the diseases for which it is particularly beneficial.
Hierapolis - A Journey Through the Ages
Located on top of the White Terrace, Hierapolis dates back 14,000 years. You will explore the ruins of public buildings, Roman baths, amphitheaters, temples, gymnasium, and agora. I will tell you what once destroyed the prosperous city, why people abandoned it forever, and who and when decided to conduct archaeological excavations here. Additionally, I will recount ancient legends, share the history of one of the apostles of Christ, and reveal the secrets of the "Gates of Hell".
