You will stroll among unique stone reliefs telling about the life of Indonesia. You will see an architectural wonder, the Prambanan temple, included in the UNESCO list. What to expect
Borobudur: the path of Buddha
You will visit the ancient Buddhist temple Borobudur - the largest monument of medieval Indonesian architecture. Here more than 500 Buddha statues are preserved, and touching each one brings happiness, according to ancient belief. The temple is built on 8 levels symbolizing the path to liberation from suffering and realization of nirvana. On the walls, you will see unique stone reliefs depicting the life of Buddha and the everyday life of local residents.
Prambanan: the architectural wonder of the island
Then you will find yourself at the Prambanan temple, located in the center of the island. It is not just a temple but a preserved monument of World Heritage and an architectural wonder that amazes with its scales. It consists of 200 temples and sanctuaries, the latter of which were built during the medieval Mataram state. You will walk through the most important restored temples of Prambanan and feel the spirit of ancient Indonesian culture.
After the walk, you will try Javanese cuisine dishes, see how Indonesian masters work in the craft center, and visit local shops.

- Please note that this is not an educational tour, but a sightseeing one. You will be accompanied by a Balinese guide who is ready to help with organizational issues. He speaks Russian fluently but with an accent.

- Air tickets and transfer to Bali airport are paid separately (arrival in Yogyakarta should be before 08:00, departure from Yogyakarta should be after 20:00). You can ask the guide for assistance in choosing and purchasing tickets.
