About this experience
You will not only stroll through the central ancient streets and see postcard-perfect views, but also visit places known only to locals. I will tell you about the history and traditions of Palermo, without overwhelming you with dates and 'dry' information, help you feel the amazing urban atmosphere, and share practical tips. I am in love with Palermo and its overflowing energy and try to convey my boundless love for the city on every tour.
What to Expect
Introduction to the main and 'secret' attractions
During a leisurely walk, you will get acquainted with the historical center of Palermo. I will show you not only the most famous city landmarks: the Cathedral, the Quattro Canti square, the Fountain of Shame, the City Hall, the Massimo Theater, but also guide you to non-touristy corners. You will discover the most beautiful church in Sicilian Baroque style hidden in the depth of the historical center and stroll through the streets where Sicilians leisurely spend time, playing cards or just sitting on a chair watching passers-by. I will tell you about the history of Palermo and local traditions, and of course, give recommendations for further leisure.
Immerse in the unique urban atmosphere
I will help you feel the incredible energy of Palermo, a very colorful, noisy, chaotic, loud, and at the same time friendly place. You will understand why Palermo is called a city of contrasts. Here, gothic and baroque styles mix surprisingly, Norman, Arab, Byzantine, and Greek traditions intertwine, time-worn houses and temples stand next to luxurious hotels, antiquity and grandeur. Cultures, styles, languages, and peoples, customs and traditions are closely interwoven here. If you have come to Palermo for the first time, you may not understand it from the first minutes, hours, or even days. I will do everything for you to truly experience and fall in love with the heart of Sicily.
