About this experience
Fez is a guardian of medieval traditions, architecture, and way of life. People here still live in ancient houses with wooden carvings, engage in crafts, and travel through winding alleyways on donkeys. It is a city of Moroccan intellectuals and aristocracy, where the paths of Arab, African, and European civilizations have intersected for centuries. We invite you to explore it together!
What to Expect
Medina Walk
Through the grand Blue Gate, we will enter the Old City of Fez and embark on a quest for adventures! You will see all the highlights: fortress fortifications, the Bou Inania and Al-Attarin madrasas, the mosaic fountain in Nejjarine Square, and the intricately carved caravanserai. Additionally, we will show you the oldest university in the world, the tanneries, the mosque, and the mausoleum of Sultan Moulay Idriss.
Non-Touristy Fez
We will visit authentic workshops where musical instruments, perfume, and fabric made from agave fibers are crafted. Meet friendly local residents and learn how they celebrate holidays, raise children, their dreams, and the songs they sing. We will stroll through colorful secret alleyways and talk about the times when Fez was the center of Islamic spiritual life.
