About this experience
Our program is designed for transit travelers who have a few free hours in Cairo. You will visit the pyramids of Pharaohs Khufu, Khafre, and Menkaure, as well as see the Great Sphinx. Get a general idea of the history and architecture of the great ancient Egyptian structures. And if desired, take a felucca ride on the Nile.
What to Expect
- We will pick you up at the airport and head straight to the legendary plateau where the iconic monuments of Ancient Egypt are located.
- You will see the three main pyramids and optionally visit them. The guide will tell you the main points about their history and different versions of construction.
- From the viewing platform, you will be able to take panoramic photos of the plateau with all three pyramids.
- Explore the oldest of the surviving monumental sculptures carved from a monolithic limestone outcrop - the Great Sphinx. See the Temple of the Sphinx.
- If you wish, you can take a felucca ride, a traditional sailboat, on the Nile and have lunch at a local café, after which we will comfortably take you back to the airport or to any required address in Cairo.

- The price includes a transfer in a comfortable Toyota car and the guidance of a tour guide
- Additional expenses:
- entrance tickets to the complex area - 540 Egyptian pounds (17$) per person
- visit to the Pyramid of Khufu - 900 Egyptian pounds (30$) per person, Pyramids of Khafre and Menkaure - 230 Egyptian pounds (8$) per person each
- boat ride 10$ per person
- lunch at a local restaurant upon request (~10$ per person) - The excursion will be conducted by me or another guide from our team
