About this experience
Berlin is beautiful. But no less (and perhaps even more) beautiful is its neighbor Potsdam. I will guide you through its streets, show you key sights, and share interesting facts from the past. The Old Market, the Dutch Quarter, Alexandrovka with its wooden houses, Cecilienhof Palace, Sanssouci... You will feel the atmosphere of Potsdam and be able to compare it with Berlin.
What to Expect
- The Old Market (Alter Markt) – the place where Potsdam's history began
- The City Palace, St. Nicholas' Church, Barberini Museum, and other nearby places
- The Dutch Quarter – a little piece of Holland in the capital of Brandenburg
- Alexandrovka – a village with fairytale-like cottages where descendants of Russian colonists live
- Cecilienhof Palace – where the 1945 Potsdam Conference took place, defining post-war Germany
- Sanssouci – the famous royal estate, often called the 'German Versailles'
- And much more majestic and beautiful sights that Potsdam is renowned for!
