About this experience
Antalya is a popular resort city. But Antalya is not just about good hotels and great beaches. It retains traces of different historical eras - from Roman-Byzantine to Ottoman. You will see them as we stroll through the cozy old district of Kaleici. You will also see the picturesque Duden Waterfall on the cliff by the sea.
What to Expect
Kaleici Old City. We will walk through the colorful streets of this ancient district of Antalya. I will introduce you to the heritage of different civilizations. Republic Square, Mevlana Museum - School of Dervishes, Orthodox Church, symbols of Antalya - Yivli Minaret and ancient mosque, ethnographic museum of the Ottoman Empire period, fortress walls from the Roman era, and the defensive tower of Hidirlik, ancient port and Emperor Adrian's Gate - the walk will be rich in history!
Retro Tram. We will ride through the central palm-lined street on a retro tram.
Waterfall. We will visit the upscale Lara district, where the Duden waterfall elegantly cascades directly into the Mediterranean Sea.
I will not only show you all these places but also tell you about the local architecture, culture, and customs of Turkey, and, of course, immerse you in the history of our country.
