About this experience
During the auto-pedestrian tour, I will tell you about the oil boom of the XIX century and its influence on the development of Baku. You will learn about the special contribution of Polish architects to the city planning, explore modern architecture, get information about national minorities, traditions, and the lifestyle of the Azerbaijani people. After the tour, all participants will receive a souvenir tourist magazine 'Journey to Azerbaijan'.
What to expect
We will explore the best architectural structures of modern Baku, historical buildings, and magnificent city parks.
I will tell you about the architects who made an invaluable contribution to the modern appearance of the city, about the pre-revolutionary oil magnates of the Russian Empire who generously funded the construction of Baku. You will learn about the religious and national communities registered in the city. I will introduce you to the traditions of multinational Baku, Azerbaijani cuisine, we will visit an eastern bazaar and participate in wine tasting.
Thus, the city will reveal itself to you in all its colors, become clearer and closer, and you will definitely find something to love about it.
