You will explore the Baku Venice - a beautiful complex of walkable water canals where the capital's residents love to stroll. Near the Carpet Museum, you will learn about traditional crafts and the art of Azerbaijani carpet weaving. You will walk along the Alley of Honor where the nation's leader Heydar Aliyev, Muslim Magomayev, and other prominent figures are buried. You will also visit the Alley of Martyrs, known to locals as Nagorny Park, where you will have a panoramic view of the city from the observation deck. You will see the Parliament of Azerbaijan building and the fantastic Flame Towers, which have become one of the symbols of Baku. Take a stroll along the Boulevard of the National Seaside Park and visit the Cathedral of the Holy Myrrh-Bearers, where the relics of apostle Bartholomew are kept.

In the 'millionaires quarter,' you will see the most expensive villas in the capital, and in the 'Soviet' quarter - old residential houses, mosques, baths, and museums. I will tell you about our famous compatriot at the monument to the intelligence officer Richard Sorge. Additionally, you will visit the charming Fountains Square, walk along the favorite street of the locals Nizami, see the Molokansky Garden and the Russian Drama Theatre. During the tour, we will take a break for lunch. As guests of an international family, you will taste traditional dishes of Azerbaijani home cuisine and get acquainted with the lives of Baku residents.
