Leisurely walking through the Old City and exploring its new facets, you will enjoy the motifs of Baku nights and learn the history of the capital. I will take you through the most colorful alleys to the main attractions, tell you about local traditions and modern life of the ancient metropolis, as well as give you plenty of useful tips on what is worth visiting during the day.
What to expect
The splendor of the southern capital
Our journey will start on Nizami Street, brightly sparkling with the shop windows of its stores and ringing with the glasses of its restaurants. You will see magnificent buildings from the late 19th century, majestic monuments, and famous landmarks illuminated by the night lights. You will learn many interesting facts from the city's history and hear local legends. We will walk to Fountain Square illuminated by lights, stop at the main gates of the Old City, pass by the fragrant M. A. Sabir Park, and talk about the modernization of the Philharmonic Park. Then we will ascend to Shahidlar Avenue, offering a picturesque view of the 'Flame Towers' and the waterfront. Finally, we will descend to mini-Venice by funicular. The museum buildings of Carpets and the Nizami Ganjavi Museum of Azerbaijan Literature, theaters and concert halls, shimmering like a starry sky - I will show you the nightlife of a city of contrasts!
