About this experience
The younger brother of Samarkand, Bukhara, and Khiva - the city of Tashkent. In summer, it gets very hot here, up to +50 degrees: not everyone can endure it. We suggest you take a sightseeing walk around the capital of Uzbekistan in the evening - when it gets cooler, the historic buildings light up, and musical fountains come alive. The city transforms and will definitely not leave you indifferent!
What to expect
History and modernity
Our journey will begin in the Old Town, where you will find the Kukeldash Madrasah (a 16th-century educational institution), the Hazrat Imam Mosque, and the Hast-Imam ensemble, also known as the heart of Muslim Tashkent. You will explore ancient structures that have survived to this day and learn their history.
Our acquaintance with the modern part of Tashkent will start with the Minor Mosque, built in 2014, and then we will move on to 'Tashkent City' with its promenade park, celebrities museum, and planetarium. Our path will then lead through the Magical Park, where you will enjoy the fresh evening air and witness a musical fountain show. We will tell you about the current development of the city, why 'Tashkent City' is being built, and what it will represent upon completion of all planned works.
The famous pilaf
At the end of the tour, you will have dinner at the center of Central Asian pilaf at 'Besh Kozon', where you will taste authentic Uzbek pilaf, learn about the varieties of this dish, the process of its preparation, and other customs of the local residents.
