About this experience
I invite you to visit the religious center of the country - the ancient city of Etchmiadzin, located just 20 km from Yerevan. You will visit the churches of St. Gayane and St. Hripsime from the 7th century, as well as the Cathedral - one of the first Christian temples in the world. Additionally, you will admire the picturesque ruins of the famous Zvartnots Temple.
What to Expect
Etchmiadzin Shrines and Zvartnots Temple
You will visit the ancient churches of St. Gayane and St. Hripsime. I will share their history and decipher the architectural features. Then we will head to the 4th-century Cathedral - the main church of Armenia. I will tell you about its construction and why a human face is carved on its wall. If you wish, you can visit the cathedral museum, where local religious artifacts are kept. On the way back, we will stop at the ruins of the once magnificent Zvartnots Temple just 5 km from Etchmiadzin.

- The tour is conducted in a 6-seater Toyota Alphard. The car is equipped with coffee, tea, water, and Wi-Fi.
- Entrance tickets are paid separately: Zvartnots - 1500 Armenian dram per person, Cathedral Cathedral Museum (optional visit) - 1500 Armenian dram per person
