About this experience
While in Hamburg, you cannot overlook its 'Sinful Mile' in the St. Pauli district, namely the world-famous Reeperbahn street - the main street of the red-light district. Tourists from all over the world come here to have a good time. During a two-hour tour of Reeperbahn and its adjacent narrow streets, you can expect many surprises and interesting information.
Program
- You will get acquainted with the history of this district and learn how sailors entertained themselves in the 19th century. Men can walk along Herbertstrasse - a street where women and youths under 18 are not allowed to enter.
- On Reeperbahn, you will see not only sex shops and brothels, strip clubs and sex cinemas, but also plenty of bars, restaurants, music clubs, theaters, and museums. You will learn who the 'kings of St. Pauli' are, how the sex industry operates, and what to pay attention to when entering bars and strip clubs to avoid leaving 'pantsless'.
- You will visit one of the oldest bars in the city, where scenes of the Hollywood movie 'Most Wanted Man' were filmed in 2012.
- You will see the boxing ring where all the world-famous boxers trained, from Muhammad Ali to the Klitschko brothers.
- From the 'Grosse Freiheit' street in the 1960s, the triumphant procession of the legendary 'Beatles' began its world tour. In no other city in the world did the Beatles perform as much as in Hamburg - more than 300 concerts. You will visit the only 'Beatles' square in the world, see the clubs where they performed, the tavern where they liked to have a beer after concerts, the police station the 'Beatles' had to visit, the former cinema where the band members spent the night in spartan conditions, and learn many juicy details about the group's life in Hamburg.
