About this experience
East Bali is not about brochures, tourist spots, or glossy pictures. It's about hidden waterfalls, authentic temples, and settlements away from the curious eyes. You will explore this amazing world: learn about the Balinese cycle of life at the 'Samsara' museum, witness the creation of batik paintings, bathe in a waterfall, and discover the 800-year-old Tegallalang temple in the heart of the jungle.
What to Expect
Ancient Tegallalang Temple, carved into the rock. This place is hidden deep in the jungle, away from tourists' eyes. Mossy steps, vines hanging over the buildings, and lotus-filled pools are a true wonder accessible only to the most curious.
'Samsara' Museum in the open air, which will tell you about Balinese daily life and routines. The focus of the museum is on the life cycle of each Balinese, from conception to death, intertwined with customs and rituals.
Gembleng Waterfall with a natural stone pool and a magnificent view of the jungle. A secluded corner of nature where we will pause and relax.
Authentic Tenganan Village. Local residents are isolated from other Balinese: here, different traditions, hierarchies, and rituals apply. Traditional crafts are at the center of local life. You will observe the birth of unique items like batik paintings, sarongs, and double ikats.
