In the east of the paradise island, you will feel the true magic of Bali. You will learn the basics of Hindu culture and observe religious ceremonies and life far from Western civilization. You will also meet the Balinese people and find out why they always smile.
What to Expect
Inside Bali
I will show you all the most interesting places of the colorful eastern part of the island. The excursion program includes:
- Goa Lawah Temple - an ancient cave inhabited by thousands of bats. I will tell you how it is related to the cremation ceremony and why pilgrims strive to get there.
- Coffee plantations - you will learn about the coffee varieties grown in Bali and taste the best of them.
- Tirta Gangga Palace - a water palace built by King Karangasem. You will hear the translation of its name from Sanskrit, and if desired, swim in the crystal-clear waters of its pool.
- Taman Ujung Palace - built over 100 years ago, it will impress you with truly mesmerizing views of the mighty mountains and the endless ocean.
- White sandy beach - here you can swim, sunbathe, have lunch, and recharge your energy before the return journey.
