About this experience
Welcome to Doha, the capital of Qatar! Our city tour will begin at the Corniche promenade - a picturesque spot with a photo panoramic zone for stunning pictures. We will then explore the neighborhoods - you will see the modern amphitheater, the best boutiques, restored buildings in the center, and a colorful market where you can buy anything. I will share insights about the city's culture and history.
What to Expect
- The Corniche - a beautiful promenade along the Persian Gulf. Enjoy the breathtaking view of the bay and the city, and take picturesque photos.
- Katara Cultural Village - You will see the modern marble amphitheater, the Blue and Golden mosques, the beach and hotels, all open for the 2022 FIFA World Cup. Optionally, you can try the national Karak tea - an important element of Qatari culture.
- The Pearl Island - a luxurious area with restaurants offering stunning views of the Persian Gulf, trendy boutiques, colorful buildings, and a lively atmosphere. Here you'll find the Qanat Quartier inspired by Venice, with its network of canals and bridges.
- Msherieb Downtown - a small district in the city center, a prime example of sustainable urban development. The buildings here have been restored with ecological sustainability in mind, many of them turned into museums and galleries.
- The Souq Waqif - an Arabian bazaar in the old part of the city. Immerse yourself in a kaleidoscope of colors, patterns, and scents and find a variety of goods - from spices to handmade souvenirs. I will tell you about the origin of the bazaar's name and help you navigate the numerous stalls. You will also see Arabian horses, camels, and falcons.
