What to expect

Arabic vibes at Doha's markets. To immerse yourself in the eastern atmosphere of the city from the get-go, we'll head to the old Souq Waqif market: you'll see camels and Arabian stallions, perhaps even feed them, stroll past aisles of aromatic spices, sweets, and souvenirs. We'll also visit the falcon market - I'll tell you why these birds are valued in Qatar and how the falcon hospital operates.

City contrasts and brands. Next, we'll move to the Corniche waterfront: walking under the palm trees past traditional dhows, we'll discuss Qatar's history. In the West Bay business district against the backdrop of skyscrapers, we'll talk about Doha's modern realities - from fashion to women's rights. In the Ethnic Village, we can visit La Fayette Gallery, see the blue and gold mosques, pigeon towers, and the amphitheater by the bay.

Qatar's Pearl Necklace. The Pearl-Qatar is a beautiful artificial island off Doha's coast, created where pearls were once harvested. Here, we'll stroll, admiring sheikhs' luxurious yachts, then move to the vibrant Qatari Venice - this slice of Italy with a replica of a Venetian bridge and colorful houses is also located on the 'pearl' island.
