I will show you the oldest pastry shop in Barcelona, still in operation, and the columns of the August Temple, the oldest structure in the city. The walk will end at the legendary Boqueria Market, where you can buy tasty souvenirs, have a snack, and enjoy a cup of coffee.
What to expect
7,000 steps through Barcelona
Why seven thousand? That's approximately how many steps you will take through ancient Barcelona during our walk. I will guide you through the most touristic spots and hidden corners, unjustly forgotten by tourists and guides. You will learn about the life of the medieval city, Barcelona of the modern era, and our days. I will share Catalan traditions and superstitions, many of which are still relevant today. You will delve into a labyrinth of narrow streets and ancient buildings and understand what makes Barcelona unique and encourages the desire to come back again.
Iconic and secret places
You will see the main square of Barcelona, the famous Rambla street, and a XIX century café, where the first exhibitions of Pablo Picasso took place. I will tell you legends about Saint Christopher, Regomir street, and the House of Béranger. I am also a certified guide in the Cathedral, which we will not leave unnoticed!
