Our art workshop in the center of Tbilisi is a creative space for both children and adults. It's a place to relax, bring your ideas to life, and learn something new under the guidance of experienced masters - whether it's pottery, weaving colorful rugs, or creating stained glass mosaics. All you need to do is choose a workshop that suits your taste!
What to Expect
Creative Day at the Tbilisi Art Workshop
Our art space in the heart of Tbilisi is always filled with the 'artistic spirit', and our top-notch masters help kids and adults bring their creative ideas to life. At the beginning of the session, I will introduce you to the crafts of Georgia - particularly the applied arts that you will be working on. You can choose from one of the following three workshops:
Pottery Art. Here you will uncover the secrets of making ceramics. Under the guidance of a master potter, you will create magic from raw clay or work at the potter's wheel. You will see how a piece of 'gray mass' turns into a figurine, plate, or any other idea you have in mind. Working with clay is relaxing and enhances creativity.
Participants age: 6 and above.
Duration: 1.5 hours.
Weaving a Rug or Tapestry will especially appeal to lovers of ethnic aesthetics and traditional crafts. With your own hands, you will create a rug or tapestry from wool, linen, or cotton on a manual loom. And of course, you will decorate the piece with a pattern of your own design.
Participants age: 14 and above.
Duration: 4 hours.
Stained Glass Mosaic - this is a true meditative art therapy, my friends! You will get acquainted with the tools for working with glass, create a sketch, and together with the master, go through all the steps of assembling the mosaic. And afterwards, you will take home an author's mosaic coaster for a cup or a decorative element.
Participants age: 16 and above.
Duration: 3 hours.
In addition, you will enjoy a short sightseeing walk through the streets of old Tbilisi, with wine tasting for adults, while children and teenagers can delight in the taste of Georgian childhood by trying natural lemonade from 'Vod Lagidze'.
Organizational Details
- Since our studio has several workshops, you can participate in one or several workshops in one day. Reserve tickets for the required categories to participate.
- I will accompany you in the studio and provide information about the crafts of Georgia. The workshops are conducted by the masters of the art space.
- Firing and glazing your items will take approximately 10-14 working days. You can pick up the finished products yourself or we can arrange delivery to your preferred address.
Workshop Schedule
- The clay modeling workshop takes place from Tuesday to Sunday every hour and a half. Contact the guide before booking to discuss the workshop time.
- The weaving workshop is held every weekend (Saturday, Sunday) and by appointment.
- The stained glass mosaic workshop takes place every Wednesday and Saturday, as well as by appointment.
