I invite you to visit the cozy town of Petrovac near Budva, which will charm you with its magnificent beaches, olive groves, and medieval temple architecture. We will visit the main attractions of Petrovac, drive through its picturesque surroundings, and explore the traditional local cuisine. And, of course, during the journey, we will enjoy the luxurious panoramas of the Adriatic and the Budva Riviera!
What to Expect
Architectural Monuments of Petrovac
Cozy Petrovac, surrounded by olive and coniferous groves, boasts not only its charm but also valuable cultural objects. We will visit the 16th-century Venetian fortress Castello with an observation deck offering stunning views of the bay. We will examine Roman floral mosaics found in the ancient olive grove from the 3rd century. We will see churches from the 14th-15th centuries: St. Vitus, St. Elijah, and St. Thomas, where the tomb of the Medinov family - the founders of the town - is located. Along the way, you will learn how Petrovac lived and changed over the centuries, as well as hear interesting stories about the local residents.
Trip through Picturesque Surroundings
After getting acquainted with the town, we will explore its surroundings. We will enjoy incredible sea panoramas at the Gradiste Monastery, featuring medieval fresco paintings. Visit the monastery complex of three 14th-century churches, restored after numerous destructions and natural disasters. We will inspect the olive grove-surrounded Rezevici Monastery. We will also see the Church of the Holy Cross, where a fresco by a Greek painter is preserved, and meet a local woman who makes amazing homemade goat cheese.

- The tour can start from other cities in Montenegro for an additional fee, I can pick you up and rearrange the route. Please specify in advance the place/city where you are staying, and the number of passengers, including children, for the transfer calculation.
