About this experience
I have been living in Cappadocia since birth and know it like the back of my hand. In this program, I have combined the most beautiful local valleys: Zelve, Love, Monks, and Fantasy. Together, they provide a complete understanding of the beauty, landscape, and ancient architecture of Cappadocia. The highlight of the tour will be a visit to the pottery workshop, where you can make a clay product with your own hands.
What to Expect
Goreme Viewpoint. Enjoy a splendid view of whimsical rocks and see the famous local pigeon houses.
Uchisar Castle. Take a walk through the ancient rock fortress and touch its history. It is also the highest point in Cappadocia, offering magnificent panoramas of the surroundings.
Love Valley. I will decipher its romantic name and show you various forms and sizes of 'rock mushrooms'.
Monks Valley. We will walk through the places where monks used to live and discuss their daily lives.
Zelve Valley. It is a real open-air museum, with 15 ancient rock churches on its territory. You will visit the most interesting ones.
Fantasy Valley. Here we will try to spot rock formations resembling a camel, a pigeon's kiss, and other interesting images.
Pottery Workshop in Avanos. You will learn about the technique of making clay products and try your hand at creating something.
