Amsterdam from the Water
A boat trip will cover the most interesting places in the city. You will visit the four major canals Prinsengracht, Keizersgracht, Herengracht, and Singel. We will pass by barges and the floating prison, mansions of the wealthiest citizens, and the caretaker's house of an old sluice. I will show you the Mint Tower, the Old Church in the Red Light District, the NEMO Science Museum, a floating Chinese restaurant, and the house where Peter the Great stayed. You will feel the love in the air as we cruise along the most romantic canal Reguliersgracht and be charmed by the flower-filled Jordaan canals. Of course, we will include a walk along the river Amstel to see the famous "Skinny Bridge."
About Amsterdam, the Country, and the Dutch
You will hear interesting facts about the capital and its inhabitants. Who and when founded the city, why it was named that way - I will delve you into the history of Amsterdam. I will share details of the country's destiny: why the Golden Age of Holland was in the 17th century, which colonies it owned, which famous people were connected to the maritime power. We will also discuss the present day. You will learn how Amsterdam makes a living, which local company organized the world's first corporate, and which firms operate in the kingdom today. We will talk about the mentality of the Dutch people and the characteristics of Amsterdammers. I will teach you some Dutch phrases and suggest local delicacies to try. Additionally, I will explain why the Dutch celebrate King's Day on the water and share popular anecdotes among local sailors.

- Additional expenses: boat rental (open sloop) - 140 euros or a luxury covered boat with a captain - 450 euros. If desired, drinks and snacks can be ordered on board - 18.5 euros per person.
