About this experience
‘Wall paintings’, ‘street art’, ‘murals’ – it's all about taking a concrete fence, a gray garage wall, or an empty five-story-high fire wall and turning it into a picture. In Budapest, there have been quite a few of such works in recent years, and all, fortunately for travelers, are within one district.
What to Expect
We will walk through one of the central districts of Budapest, combining history and life, moving from wall to wall, comparing the creative power of different artist teams. We will see that on the wall depicting a vegetable stall, among other things, the real hostess of a real vegetable stall is depicted, right across the street. We will critique the wall portrait of Empress Elizabeth and most likely see a completely new painting that appeared after you read about this tour.
