Program
Our route will pass through the historical center of the city. We will walk through the greenest places, I will show you exotic and decorative plants, tell you about the oldest trees. You will see secluded corners of the central district, where tourists do not venture. I will reveal the secrets of side streets and alleys. You will get acquainted with exotic plants brought to our country from all corners of the world and learn how and for what reason they appeared in the city. I will show ecological basins with pitcher plants and lotuses, you will learn the history of the oldest tree in Tel Aviv and why eucalyptus trees were brought to the city from Palestine. After this excursion, you will definitely look at Tel Aviv in a new light.
The starting point is on Rothschild Boulevard. Rothschild Boulevard is the central boulevard of the historical center of the city, a favorite place for walks of locals and tourists. The boulevard is lined with huge ficus trees, the aerial roots of which give the trunks whimsical outlines. The route goes through the side streets of the city center and ends at the square near the A-Bima Theater, one of the first theaters in Palestine, created by Vakhtangov's students.
