About this experience
Borjomi is a true gem of Georgia. The resort is famous for its mineral water with healing properties. But that's not its only highlight. I will also show you ancient temples and tell you interesting facts from their history. In addition, we will visit the cave city, which is over 3000 years old.
What to expect
- Uplistsikhe cave city. On the way to Borjomi, we will make a stop. I will show you the ancient city carved in the rock with a centuries-old history. I will tell you about Georgia's prehistoric past, cultural development, formation of a unified kingdom, and paganism that has been around for over 3000 years.
- Mineral spring. Upon reaching the city, we will take a walking tour. We will visit the central park where you can taste mineral water from the spring. You will learn how and when it was discovered, its military connections, the healing properties of Borjomi water, and why this place is so popular.
- Green Monastery. This is one of the oldest male monasteries in Georgia and an excellent example of construction in harmony with nature. According to specialists and historians, the complex was dedicated to Georgia's heavenly patron Saint George the Victorious. Once inside the temple, you cannot help but feel the breath of antiquity!

- The tour takes place in a comfortable car. Upon request, a child seat will be provided.
- The price includes: transfer, all transportation expenses, guide services. Entrance tickets to Uplistsikhe (15 lari) and lunch are paid separately.
