About this experience

In the first half of the XIX century, in Meskheti, at the most important strategic crossroads, two superpowers of that era - the Ottoman and Russian Empires - clashed. The Turks were expelled from Georgian lands, and the historical region of Samtskhe - after almost 250 years of Turkish pashalik rule - returned to Georgia. You will travel back to the era of valor and revival, to medieval historical landmarks, and see the enchanting Borjomi Gorge.

Great tour to Borjomi and Rabat with Kostya. Good itinerary, guide's knowledge, and tour style. We also enjoyed his general facts about Georgia, its people, and recommendations for places to visit.
