About this experience
Has Berlin not yet impressed you with its unique atmosphere and antique architecture? Then I invite you to take a stroll through the secretive courtyards and alluring alleys of one of the oldest artisan quarters of Berlin. Here, there is no tourist hustle and bustle, and time seems to have stood still. Somewhere behind the grand Art Deco facades, the spirit of the 'roaring twenties' reigns, while elsewhere whispers of the 'wild nineties'. Here, you can dance swing, watch silent movies accompanied by live music, or visit one of the many art galleries.
What to expect:
- Several architectural complexes connected by galleries with courtyards inside: Hackesche Höfe, Rosenthaler Höfe, Sophien-Gips-Höfe, and Heckmann-Höfe.
- Unnoticed remains of the Prussian Monbijou Palace and favorite spots of German and Hollywood directors.
- Furthermore, you will learn about how the German Empire fought against alcohol and where the German working class was born.
This walk is suitable for those who want to see a different, unusual Berlin - a city with a rich history and creative modernity!
