About this experience
I think many have heard about the famous Beaujolais wines. Their name is due to the region in the northwest of Lyon. The Beaujolais Nouveau wine festival gathers revelers and French wine connoisseurs. But it is worth visiting the capital of the Beaujolais region, Bozho, all year round!
Program
I will pick you up from Lyon by car, and we will set off on a journey through Beaujolais. The name of the region comes from Bozho, founded in the 10th century by Lord Berard Bozho. His family ruled the city until the end of the 15th century. Since those ancient times, many buildings have been preserved in the city, such as the 12th-century Church of St. Nicholas, as well as Renaissance mansions. It is worth seeing them with your own eyes and learning the amazing stories of these places!
Of course, in Bozho you should try the wine! So we will go to the tasting of local fine wines, and I will tell you about their characteristics.
We will also visit a plant oil production. Here they produce 13 types of oils: pistachio, poppy, sesame, almond, hazelnut, pecan, walnut oils, etc.! There are also 6 types of balsamic vinegars, including quince, honey, lemon, and raspberry! Tasting will allow you to appreciate all these riches ;)
