About this experience
Northern Beaujolais is the region where green meadows and forests cover most of the hills and mountains. It is a true paradise for hoofed animals and therefore for cheese production! You will find yourself on a real farm, learn about the intricacies of production and taste nuances of cheese products, and of course, sample several varieties with wine.
What to Expect
In the Beaujolais mountains, through the Burgundy valleys walks... not a fur coat and caftan, but a very cute animal, also cloven-hoofed, but unlike a ram and a sheep, very intelligent and resourceful!
I will take you to the picturesque village of Senneville, where I will introduce you to the farmers Anne-Marie and Thierry. There is a lot to see here - this is real organic farming! We will get acquainted with the life of a real rural farm and talk about various gastronomic subtleties.
Excursion program:
- walks on the hills with breathtaking views;
- production tour;
- farm visit;
- cheese tasting (with wine, of course!).
After visiting the farm, my enthusiastic travelers usually notice: how will we now eat cheeses in Russia?!:)
Usually the visit to the farm is held in the first half of the day. After a walk in the fresh air and an aperitif with cheeses, it is logical to continue exploring the Beaujolais region in a local cuisine restaurant. We will also travel around the region through small villages, and I will tell you amazing stories about Beaujolais.
