This tour is designed for those who want to explore all aspects of Bali's life in one day. During our journey, you will visit the most significant, interesting, and characteristic places of Bali. You will learn about the local religion in the grand temple complex of Besakih, visit the water palaces of Tirta Gangga and Taman Ujung, taste the famous Luwak coffee, admire the best landscapes of the island, and visit a 24-hour surfing beach. Just one day - and you will understand the character and inner beauty of Bali!
What to Expect
Culture and Religion of Bali at Besakih Temple
You will visit Besakih - the most revered temple and the main cultural center of Bali, located on the slope of Mount Agung. Here you will learn about the religious traditions of the island, which are the foundation of Balinese life, and get acquainted with the architectural philosophy of Besakih Temple: the complex consists of 7 levels symbolizing the 7 chakras.
Nature and Daily Life of the Island
On the way to the temple, you will visit a village of woodcarvers and a beautiful house of a Brahmin family, learn about the mentality of the Balinese and their way of life. You will stop at Celuk village, famous for its silverware, and definitely visit a coffee plantation to taste the famous Luwak coffee - the most expensive and rare type in the world. You will drive through incredibly picturesque places of the island, enjoy the panorama of Mount Batur and the lake, learn about the peculiarities and history of the unique nature of Indonesia. For lunch, we will stop at Mahagiri restaurant, where you will taste traditional Balinese dishes.
Water Palaces and the Royal Family Life
After lunch, you will visit the water park of Tirta Gangga of the Karangasem royal family, where you can bathe in a pool with pure spring water. You will also visit another iconic place - the water palace of Taman Ujung, known for its unusual architecture. You will immerse yourself in a world of harmony, where sculptures and structures harmoniously blend into the natural landscape, learn about the origin of the royal caste, and the significance of the royal family on the island.
Dinner at a Surf Club
For dinner, we will visit the famous surf club 'Komune': here, night lighting is installed, allowing surfing 24 hours a day! In the local restaurant, you will taste delicious steaks and burgers, while listening to stories about local surfing and its role in Bali's life.
Organizational Details
- The cost includes a transfer in a premium-class car. Luxury-class transport is possible upon request (please inquire about the cost with the guide).
- Return to the hotel around 8 pm
- Entrance tickets are not included in the price - $15/person.

- The price includes a transfer from any hotel and back in all areas except Amed.
- From Amed, we can pick you up for an additional fee - $100. We are unable to drop you off at a hotel in this area after the tour.
