About this experience
This is one of the most interesting excursions in Bali! You will discover the island from different perspectives: get acquainted with its nature, architecture, religion, and culture. Visit the Monkey Forest, explore the ancient Tanah Lot temple, see the rice terraces and coffee plantations where the most expensive coffee in the world is produced. As a native Balinese, I promise you a complete immersion in the local color!
What to expect
- Our journey will start at one of the Balinese power spots - the ancient Tanah Lot temple. This is one of the 3 main temples on the island, built to worship the god of the ocean.
- Next, we will head to Ubud, where we will stroll through the Monkey Forest with its fantastically beautiful wild nature. Temples and statues are 'hidden' in the jungle, adding color to this place.
- We will visit the Tegalalang rice terraces. See how rice is grown on the island and admire the breathtaking views.
- We'll visit coffee plantations where the most expensive and unique coffee in the world is produced - Kopi Luwak.
- We'll stop by the Gunung Kawi Sebatu purification temple. Few tourists make it here, so a harmonious and secluded atmosphere is preserved. The temple is famous for its holy springs: if you wish, you can undergo the 'Melukat' cleansing ritual, which will free your mind and cleanse your spirit. And I will help you observe all the ritual canons and tell you about its significance.
- And the final point of our journey - the stunning Tegenungan Waterfall. The powerful stream of water falling from a height of 25 meters will leave you in awe!
Along the way, I will tell you everything I know about Bali. About our customs and ceremonies, about culture and traditions, about the many festivals we have. You will also learn interesting facts about the attractions on the route.
