What to Expect
Balinese Essence and Incredible Nature of Ubud
The surroundings of the town of Ubud in the heart of Bali are the perfect place to get acquainted with the island's inner life and wild nature. During our journey, you will explore all facets of Bali: from temples and coffee plantations to stunning natural landmarks. Each point of our route will reveal the island to you from a new bright perspective:
- The ancient Batuan Temple, built over a thousand years ago and adorned with traditional Balinese ornamentation. Through Batuan, you will discover traditional village temples of Bali, built according to all religious canons.
- Next, we will visit the Tegenungan Waterfall, which drops a powerful stream of water from a height of 25 meters. It is the most beautiful and picturesque waterfall in Bali!
- Near Ubud, you will visit the Monkey Forest with fantastically beautiful wild nature. It is a large park in the jungle where three groups of long-tailed monkeys live. Ancient temples and statues are scattered throughout the forest, adding incredible Balinese essence to the local landscapes.
- Tegallalang Rice Terraces - one of the most famous and specific sceneries of Bali that will surely amaze you! Here, we will admire the green terraced fields and observe how rice is grown on the island.
- You will visit coffee plantations where not only the best coffee in the world is grown, but also vanilla, cocoa. Here, the most expensive and specific coffee in the world is produced - "kopi luwak", in the making of which civets participate.
- Mount Batur viewpoint - one of the most impressive spots in Bali, offering stunning views. You will overlook the island from a height of 1717 meters and visit the natural Lake Batur located in the crater of the extinct volcano.
- Our route will end at the hot springs near Mount Batur. You will be able to bathe in the live water, which not only relieves fatigue but also has a beneficial effect on the skin and the entire body.
Mysterious World of Balinese Traditions
During the journey, I will tell you about the art, religion, traditions, and culture of the island so that you can learn all the important aspects of the inner life of Bali. How Balinese relate to nature, to God, and to other people. What types of temples operate on the island, how religious ceremonies and festivals are held. I will tell you about the structure of a traditional Balinese house, and also help you understand the omens and beliefs that are prevalent among the locals.
