What to expect
About the Greek capital
You will see the city's 'postcards' - the Parliament and Syntagma Square - hear their curious history and witness the changing of the guard. You will visit the National Garden, a natural oasis in the heart of the capital, be impressed by the variety of Greek trees and plants, and discover parrot nests. Walk along the central pedestrian shopping street and feel at the center of the world on the always crowded Monastiraki Square. I will tell you about the life and traditions of the locals: where they like to spend time, what they cook at home, how they start families, and raise children.
Athens from a postcard
You will stroll through the colorful district of Plaka and marvel at the grandeur of the Kalimarmaro Stadium. You will see the majestic columns of the Temple of Zeus and the gateway to the old city - Hadrian's Arch, Socrates' prison. Climb the Pnyx hill under the Acropolis. From here, you will have a wonderful view of historical Athens and the ancient Agora. The tour will end in the Monastiraki district, known for its colorful cafeterias, taverns, and bars. I will tell you about the Greek cuisine and local products that are loved worldwide. And also - I will recommend my favorite places where you can relax and enjoy delicious food in the evening.
