What to Expect
- Syntagma Square - one of the liveliest in the city. It houses several significant landmarks, such as the Greek Parliament, the former Royal Palace, the historic Grande Bretagne Hotel, and other buildings.
- Dionysiou Street - considered the most beautiful pedestrian street in Athens.
- Plaka and its part Anafiotika - one of the most charming and historically significant districts in central Athens. Located at the foot of the Acropolis, it is a labyrinth of narrow streets covered in mosaics and surrounded by traditional Greek houses.
- Monastiraki - a picturesque district with a unique old-world atmosphere. One of the popular spots in Monastiraki is the market, where you can buy everything from fruits and vegetables to cute souvenirs.
