Explore ancient Aswan and its surroundings in a comfortable small group format! Take a motorboat ride on the Nile and visit the stunning Temple of the goddess Isis on Philae Island. Discover the legends of the Unfinished Obelisk and marvel at the engineering wonder - the Aswan Dam.
What to expect
Temple of Isis on Philae Island. You will see one of the oldest and most beautiful temples in all of Egypt. Admire its granite altars and decipher the mythological scenes on the walls. To reach the temple, we will use a motorboat - get ready for a short river journey on the Nile!
Unfinished Obelisk. You will appreciate the largest of the known ancient obelisks. It weighs over 1000 tons. We will tell you what it is made of and the theories about its origin.
Aswan Dam. This is the largest hydrotechnical system in the entire country. We will explain how it was constructed and its connection with the USSR.
