About this experience
I invite you to join a group tour to explore the Colosseum - a synonym of Ancient Rome, its history, and grandeur. You will skip the line to enter the Colosseum, learn about gladiator battles and the lives of emperors. Afterwards, you will visit the Roman Forum, where the life of the Eternal City once thrived.
What to Expect
Life of a Gladiator - Colosseum. Skip the line to step onto the arena that embodies the power and authority of the Roman Empire. Why was the Colosseum built and by whom? How did it function and serve Rome for almost 2000 years? Through the guide's stories, you will witness the battles that took place on the legendary arena, gladiatorial combats, and even exotic animal hunts.
Roman Forum: Heart of the Eternal City. On the way to the Roman Forums, I will narrate another chapter of ancient Roman history. This was once the hub of the city's public, political, and religious life. You will learn about the rise and fall of the Roman Empire, envision the life of a Roman citizen 2,000 years ago. At the end of the tour, I will leave you at the forums, where you can stroll around and climb the Palatine Hill for a magnificent view of Ancient Rome.
Organizational Details
- Additional entrance fee to the Colosseum:
Children under 6 years: 13€ tour + 10€ tickets
From 6 to 18 years: 27€ tour + 15€ tickets
Adults: 36€ tour + 25€ tickets - You do not need to purchase tickets yourself, we will do it for you. You will pay the entrance fee before the tour starts on-site.
- Sometimes there may be no tickets available for your chosen day and time. We will inform you 24 hours in advance and offer to reschedule the tour or refund the prepayment.
- During holidays, the starting time may be changed. We will notify you in advance.
- The day before the tour, we will contact you to confirm your plans and provide detailed meeting point with the guide.
- Colosseum tickets are non-refundable, strictly tied to the entry date and time, and must be booked in advance. Therefore, it is advisable to book the tour in advance. Before making a prepayment, check with me if there are available spots in the group.
