About this experience
In the city of canals and bridges lived, created, and loved the great master of chiaroscuro Rembrandt Harmenszoon van Rijn. A walk through the center of Amsterdam is dedicated to the biography and creativity of the greatest representative of the Dutch Golden Age painting. You will see buildings that the creator of the 'Night Watch' carefully avoided, and admire the cityscapes that Rembrandt captured in his works. You will visit the House-Museum with recreated interiors of living rooms and the artist's workshop. As a result, the path of the wayward genius will unfold before your eyes, and the era of the flourishing of national painting will become closer and more understandable.

Historical sites associated with the artist
At the New Market Square, we will talk about the creation of the works 'The Anatomy Lesson of Dr. Nicolaes Tulp' and 'The Anatomy Lesson of Dr. Deijman'. In the Old Church, we will discuss the traditions of decorating Dutch temples, and near the grave of the artist's wife Saskia, we will reflect on 'memento mori'. At the luxurious mansion of Rembrandt's portrait patrons, the Trippenhuis, I will tell you one of the Amsterdam legends associated with this house. You will admire the beautiful facade of the Οost-Indisch Huis building, where Rembrandt bought exotic items for his art collection. Near the South Church, you will learn about a turning point in the master's life. Additionally, you will visit Rembrandt's House-Museum, where the interiors of living rooms and the artist's workshop are recreated, as well as a small art gallery with a reconstruction of the collection that the artist assembled. Finally, you will end up at Rembrandt Square, where you will be greeted by a monument and the sculpture group 'Night Watch'.
Conversations about the great master of chiaroscuro
At the age of 25, our hero moves to Amsterdam. Why there? How did the young artist establish himself in the capital? Who surrounded him, who inspired him? Where did he walk with his sketchbook and what city views did he capture, and which buildings did he persistently avoid? I will show you these buildings and views, and try to unfold the life of the wayward genius, with all its ups and downs, before your eyes. We will talk about tender feelings for his wife, the beloved son, the capricious mistress, and the great love until death. I will be happy to answer all your questions and, of course, take a photo with you next to the bronze musketeers from the 'Night Watch'!
