About this experience
Let's conquer Amsterdam together in a couple of hours? You will visit the places that impressed the hosts of 'The Travel Show', dispel tourist myths, and try the best Dutch herring. And most importantly, you will see that Amsterdam is not only the capital of the Red Light District and legal drugs, but also a truly cozy city that captivates you from the first minutes.
What to Expect
Everything you need to know about Amsterdam and the Dutch
I will try to make Amsterdam closer, more understandable, and more interesting for you. How did a fishing village turn into a thriving European capital? How has Dutch life and lifestyle changed over the centuries? How many bicycles are resting at the bottom of Amsterdam's canals, and why don't the Dutch put curtains on their windows? Can the 'dancing' Amsterdam houses collapse? You will receive comprehensive, and sometimes quirky answers to these and many other questions!
Tales and Delicacies
Our route is based on locations that inspired the guys from 'The Travel Show'. At the city's oldest coffee shop, we will find out if they serve coffee there. We will discuss how fallen women were corrected in 17th century Amsterdam, talk about the Red Light District. We will peek into a secret Catholic church in the courtyard-island. And, of course, in search of the best angles for photos, we will not overlook the Chinese and Jewish quarters, Dam Square, and the atmospheric flower market. If you get hungry, we will try the most delicious herring in Amsterdam and figure out what's better - Dutch herring or bitterballen? Or we will taste Dutch cheese with special mustards and jams.
