About this experience
You will explore all the city's 'postcards': the TV tower, the religious complex Hast-Imam, Independence Square, Amir Temur Square, the subway, and the Minor Mosque. I will tell you the history and legends of Tashkent's iconic sites, help you understand the local mentality, teach you how to bargain correctly, take you to the most picturesque and cozy streets, and reveal the friendly and hospitable soul of the Uzbek capital!
What to Expect
Tashkent's Mosaic: Squares and Parks
You will visit Independence Square - the largest city square in the Soviet Union. Stroll along the local 'Broadway' and, if desired, see the most beautiful metro stations. Tashkent is the first city in Central Asia to have a metro!
Tashkent through the Centuries
In the picturesque Amir Temur Square, where the construction of Tashkent began after the city was conquered by the Russian Empire in the 19th century, I will share the most interesting facts about the history of our capital and its famous residents. I will also show you the Hast-Imam Square - the religious center of the city, where old adobe houses that survived the 1966 earthquake are preserved. You will be impressed by the medieval mosques, madrasahs, and mausoleum located here.
