About this experience
Almaty vineyards are among the largest in Central Asia. You can see them with your own eyes, learn the secrets of winemaking at the factory, and refine your wine tasting skills at a master class led by professionals. At the same time, you will immerse yourself in the history of Kazakhstan and delve into the cultural traditions of the indigenous people.
What to Expect
Enjoy a trip through the enchanting Kazakh valleys surrounded by silent mountains. Visit vineyards and a winery, learn about the intricacies of production and the grape varieties grown in these lands. Professional winemakers will conduct a master class where you will learn how to evaluate and characterize wines. The knowledge you acquire can be immediately applied during the wine tasting.
Trip Itinerary:
08:45 - gathering of participants at the meeting point in Almaty
09:00 - departure to the winery
10:45–12:45 - winery tour with wine tasting
13:00 - visit to the vineyards
13:30–14:30 - lunch
14:30 - return to the city
16:00 - arrival back in the city
Organizational Details
- Excursion age restriction: 21+
- Comfortable transportation, wine tasting, and lunch are included in the program cost
- The tour will be conducted by me or one of our team's guides
- Payment for the remaining part of the tour cost is accepted in tenge only on the day of the tour. The amount in tenge is fixed according to the current exchange rate of the National Bank of the Republic of Kazakhstan on the day of order confirmation, which we will inform you about in our correspondence.
