Travel to Soave is the key to uncovering the success of Italian winemaking. You will head to a region with a history spanning over a thousand years. Explore the vineyards, learn about the peculiarities of local winemaking, chat with wine producers, and of course, indulge in a tasting - I will tell you all about its rules.
What to expect
We will leave Verona by car and head along the 'Soave Road' - the local road named after it. Over its millennia-long history, Soave has earned the reputation of the wine of love. Not for nothing does Romeo utter this word in one of the scenes of the famous Shakespearean drama. What exactly he meant - a kiss from Juliet or the wine drank - is a debatable question that can only be clarified on the spot, by trying 'Soave' in the local cellars and forming your own conclusions. ;)
During our trip, I will help you understand Italian wines and local cuisine, the volcanic-origin soils, we will see the vineyards of Soave and get acquainted with wine producers. We will have a tasting session and delve into the organoleptic properties of Soave wines. We will analyze the color, aroma, taste, and other essential parameters.
