About this experience
I enjoy introducing others to Chilean wine. What was done on a global scale 30 years ago, often happens for my guests for the first time. Dispelling myths and stereotypes about Chilean winemaking - that's the least we can do in 1 day. But we will do more: we will visit 3 wineries, uncover the secrets of white and red wines of Casablanca Valley, and taste its famous varieties.
What to expect
- Our trip to Casablanca Valley includes visits to three wineries: one offers a tour of the wine production, cellar visit, and tasting, the second - only tasting, the third - lunch surrounded by natural beauty.
- We will delve into the history of Chilean winemaking. We will find out why Casablanca takes pride in white grape varieties and whether Sauvignon Blanc from this valley is truly the best in Chile (or the world?).
- We will discuss and taste varieties such as Chardonnay, Riesling, Pinot Noir, and Syrah - all of them thrive in the climate of Casablanca.
- We will talk not only about the wine of the country but also about the culture, traditions, cuisine, and nature of Chile.
Organizational details
- The price includes transfer in a comfortable car and guide services.
- Tastings and lunch are paid separately - starting from $40 per person at each winery.
- The choice of restaurant depends on the route as well as the restaurant's availability to receive guests at a certain time.
